About the event

Nagasunehiko, who ruled the country based in Ikoma in Nara and was Jinmu's strongest enemy, was overthrown by Nigihayahi's betrayal. On the day Jinmu defeated the people living in Nara and declared that he had built a palace in Kashihara and ruled the world, the Kanotori Tsui Tachi no Hinotō in March was used as a Japanese shrine. On July 20th, 1873 (Meiji 6), Kigensetsu was decided to be February 11th according to Dajokanfu No. 258. Following that date, the name was changed in 1966 to become National Foundation Day. Why is Jinmu allowed to defeat the people of Nara and establish a nation? Jinmu is said to be because he is a "god from heaven".

Is Jinmu a god?

A nation of people freed from oppression celebrates Independence Day. This story is told with the hope that Nagasunehiko will be revived now, in order to be freed from the days of resentment for the day he was conquered and became their slave, "National Foundation Day."

Independence in my heart now!
