April 22nd is World Earth Day. Events and actions aimed at realizing a sustainable society are being held all over the world. It is our sincere hope that we, who live on this one and only planet, can respect each other, live happily, and live our lives to the fullest.

We protest against those who seek to take Palestine away from us.

The Israeli military began its invasion of Gaza, Palestine, on October 7, 2023. This planned invasion is called the "Second Nakba." Israel is intentionally taking the lives of countless people in Gaza. It is not just Gaza, it is also trying to wipe out Palestinian lives, land, and everything else. Even if the Japanese government supports Israel, those who will recite and sing this poem on April 22nd will protest against the taking of even one more Palestinian life.
