~We protest against those who seek to take Palestine~ The Israeli military began its invasion of Gaza, Palestine, on October 7, 2023. This planned invasion is called the "Second Nakba." Israel is intentionally taking the lives of countless people in Gaza. It is not just Gaza, it is also attempting to wipe out Palestinian lives, land, and everything else. Even if the Japanese government supports Israel, those who will recite and sing this poem on April 22nd protest against any further acts that take the lives of even one Palestinian. Makiko Sakurai
